15th-17th November 2016, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
The workshop will be held on 15th November 2016.
The aim of this workshop is to initiate the discussion on the existing toolbox of research methods used in ACI community, highlighting what is still missing and what could be imported from other disciplines, such as HCI, behavioral science, computer science, game studies, etc.
Due to the multi-disciplinary of the field of ACI, it is also important to look for new ways for fostering the exchange of ideas and promote collaborations between researchers coming from different backgrounds.
The workshop will consist of several invited talk and a roundtable discussion. During the day, we are going to address the following questions:
- What is the toolbox of research methods relevant for the ACI community?
- What research methods can we import, inherit or adopt from HCI, behavioural science, computer science, game studies and other fields?
- What research methods specific for ACI still need to be developed?
- How can the multi-disciplinary field of ACI foster the exchange of ideas and promote collaborations between researchers coming from different backgrounds?
